The coronavirus pandemic has completely changed the way we perceive the convenience of workout equipment. I know for me, I had to be very creative because we don’t really have much equipment at the home. Gyms closed down and I was stuck with these three piece of equipment. When I say stuck, I actually mean BLESSED. Blessed for the fact that I actually had these already at home. I was able to keep my workouts going at the same intensity, while being creative on how I performed my exercises. Now, you won’t be able to get those 500lb deadlift personal records with this equipment, but you can definitely still build muscle, increase your muscular endurance, and even improve your cardiovascular system. Honestly, home workouts increased my work capacity because I had shifted my focus to stamina and muscular endurance while training at home for 3 months. Let me show you the three items you could throw into your amazon cart today, and start getting results from home.

Training straps for body weight movements are an amazing addition to your home workout arsenal. These straps allow you to manipulate your body and target any muscle group you desire. Use this item for push ups, body rows, single leg squats, bicep curls, tricep extensions, and so much more!
The four circle bands allow you to target even more areas. You could place the band around your thighs and do lateral/side lunges to target your glutes, or place them around your wrists while you do lateral/side walking planks to target your shoulders.

Resistance bands like these with handles allow you to perform any exercise you could traditionally do at the gym with dumbells. The advantage of using resistance bands is that you produce tension on the target muscle groups during the full range of motion. The amount of tension (typically affiliated to poundage when it comes to weights) increases as you complete the concentric or squeezing portion of the lift.

CAP Barbell 20-150 Lb Adjustable Weighted Vest, Regular and Short Options
The weighted vest is honestly my favorite piece of training equipment. Weighted vests allow you to perform body weight exercises with additional weight without occupying the hands. You could perform things like push ups with an increased weight stimulus, or you could perform sprints and different squat variations. Either way, this piece of equipment is definitely a must in your at home workout kit.
Now keep in mind, just because you have the equipment does NOT mean you will get results. You have to also put in the time and effort to achieve your goals. Train hard, eat right, and get your very much needed rest.
